Customer Service Officer cum Co-ordinator (Shipping / E-commerce / Logistics)

• Permanent
• Location: Jalan Bukit Merah /Changi South Lane / Changi Airfreight Centre
• Normal office hour
• Up to $3,000 + AWS + PB


Job Responsibilities:

(Customer Service Officer – Sea Freight/ E-commerce)
• Promptly respond to customer enquiries on shipment status
• Responsible to liaise with customers for shipment planning and execution
• Liaise and co-ordinate with transporter, carrier and supplier to ensure timely receiving of cargo for export
• Responsible to verify and update cargo details into System
• Responsible to prepare invoice to customer and answer their query pertaining to the charges billed
• Send pre-alert to customers upon job execution and timely update shipment uplifting status.
• Any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that are assigned as appropriate by the co.
• Only candidates with sea freight experience or e-commerce experience need apply


(Customer Service Officer – Logistics)

• Monitoring of daily delivery and receiving of goods into the warehouse and the data are keyed in correctly and update to customers accordingly.

• Ensure sales, stock receipt and adjustments are accurately updated into the system within the timeline.

• Update of activities and rates in system and responsible for invoicing to customers.

• Act as a single point of contact to customers.

• Liaison with warehouse personnel on goods collection and delivery.

• Assist to set up SOP for new customers.

• Responsible for weekly inventory cycle count and reporting to customers.

• Responsible for periodic maintenance of MHEs.

• To ensure compliance to safety regulations and security measures for warehouse operations.

• Manage clients’ queries and complaints.

• To assist the manager as & when required.


(Co-ordinator)
• To manage daily shipping process including: drop shipment activities, monitor delivery from vendors to customers (direct shipment)
• Coordinate with internal department/forwarders/carrier on incoming/outgoing shipping arrangement
• Monitor and follow up on Arrival Notice and Bill or Lading for incoming shipment
• Responsible for customer shipping and logistics support and tracking & tracing of shipments and vessel arrivals
• Attending to email correspondences and phone calls
• Order processing, purchasing and planning
• Follow up on demurrage, storage and detention charges
• Assist in arranging courier services
• Handle cargo marine insurance for import and export shipment
• Knowledge in Trade net such as cargoes permit declaration, amendment and cancellation
• Handle administration tasks whenever necessary
• Able to communicate confidently in Mandarin with Chinese business associates

Working Hours:
• Mon to Fri: 9am to 6pm (Customer service officer & Co-ordinator)
• Alt. Saturday: 9am – 1pm (Customer service officer)


Salary:

• Salary: $2000 - $3000 (Customer service officer)
• Salary: $2500-$2700 + AWS + Performance Bonus (Co-ordinator)


Job Requirements:
(Customer Service Officer – Sea Freight/ E-commerce)
• Sea freight experience or e-commerce experience
• Min Diploma holders
• Min. 2 years of experience in procedure documentation and customer service
• Customer service oriented and good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS
• Initiative with positive attitude, willingness to learn and must be a team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills


(Customer Service Officer – Logistics)

• O Level or Diploma holder

• Experience in 3PL environment

• Proficient in MS Office (esp. Excel spreadsheet)

• Basic knowledge on warehouse management system

• Team player with the ability to work under pressure.

• Knowledge on customs permits declarations.


(Co-ordinator)
• Possess Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Marine field or related
• Freight forwarding experience is preferred
• 2-3 years related working experience in the shipping/logistics in a trading company
• Good communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with bilingual client
• ERP system knowledge is preferred (multi-currency & inventory module)
• Meticulous, independent, quick learner, good working attitude and able to work under pressure
• Preferably candidate who are able to start work immediately or with short notice
