Vice President, Brands

Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as Vice President, Brands.

Job Responsibilities:

The primary role of Vice President, Brands is to ensure that the integrity of the two brands that comprise Pan Pacific Hotels Group – namely Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts and PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts - is upheld.  Vice President, Brands will be responsible for strengthening, aligning, their identities to build brand preference and increase brand awareness. The role also manages the Corporate Communications function for the Group.

 

A key responsibility of the role will be to work in tandem with all business units to ensure that the brand and communications strategy is effectively executed across all platforms with the objective of generating revenue for Pan Pacific Hotels Group.

 

The Role:

  • Acts as ‘custodian’ of both brands by directing the development and assurance of consistent corporate formats for each brand, across numerous platforms.
  • Provides strategic direction for the two brands with the aim of maximising awareness and brand loyalty amongst key stakeholders.
  • Works with SVP Marketing and Sales to develop corporate promotional campaigns and programmes that will maximise brand awareness and drive traffic to the brand websites.
  • Reviews hotels’ individual marketing campaigns and all consumer-facing communications to ensure there is total alignment with brand positioning and messaging.
  • Works closely with the Online Marketing team, supporting them in the development of the brand website, ensuring the ‘look and feel’ and tone of voice is in line with the brand personality.
  • Reviews hotel content on brand websites to ensure that the copy for individual hotel web pages maximises Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Identifies, develops and builds strong marketing alliances with key strategic partners with a view to extending our customer reach and introducing the brands to new audiences.
  • Supports the Corporate Communications Manager in the delivery of an integrated communications plan to heighten the profile of both brands to our external stakeholders.
  • Provides direction and spearheads all CRM activities for new and existing hotels to ensure retention while driving brand loyalty.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all branding requirements are in place in a timely manner for all new hotel openings – collateral production, external signage, photography, and so on.
  • Oversees the creation of all new hotel pre-opening branding, marketing and communications campaigns.

 

The Person:

  • Minimum 10 years’ management experience in brand marketing and corporate communications, ideally on an international level
  • Candidates from hospitality background would be preferred
  • Possesses an university degree
  • Ability to develop board approval papers
  • Excellent communicator – written, oral and presentation skills
  • Able to manage and simultaneously respond to multiple priorities   
  • Experience of managing external agencies (both branding, advertising and PR)
  • A good project manager and strategic thinker
  • Must display sound integrity
  • Able to handle budget planning and management
