Project Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Director and General Manager (Singapore) to manage design and build projects in Singapore or overseas.
  • Has the overall responsibility for a project, taking it from concept to completion.
  • Responsible for all managerial and administrative tasks of a project. This includes estimating, scheduling, progress measurement, progress billing, design review & co-ordinatio, cost studies, safety and proposal preparation.
  • Work closely with client in the early stages in order to facilitate the design process with the architect and to prepare all necessary working drawings.
  • Ensure the accurate and complete estimates of project are prepared and work with client and architects to develop preliminary drawings.
  • Attend proposal meeting with client, discuss scope of work, answer questions and discuss ways to reduce costs.

 

Requirements:

  • Design experience is required.
  • Degree in Civil & Structural/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Architecture is required.
  • Degree must be recognized by Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
  • Min 3 years of relevant experience. Relevant experienced person can be offered senior position as Project Manager.
  • Able to make decisions under tight deadlines.
  • Able to organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
  • Computer Skills: proficiency using Word, Excel and project scheduling programs.
  • Knowledge of auto-cad, design experience.
