Buyer - 5 days/Up to $3200/ Electrical @ Kallang

Salary: 3200


  • To procure goods and services that a Planner requires
  • Release PO to supplier
  • To ensure purchases are secured and delivered ontime.
  • Update delivery schedule
  • Expedite parts from supplier
  • Work closely with supplier to push-out parts to minimize over-stocking
  • Monitor deliveries and any past due shipments
  • Negotiate directly with suppliers for best possible credit terms
  • Arrange shipment mode
  • Liaise with supplier on stock quality issue and seek credit note
  • Arrange consignment to Subcon
  • Provide monthly forecast to supplier
  • Assess and evaluate suppliers’ performance & compliance


  • Degree/diploma in supply chain with electronic engineering knowledge.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin as need to liaise with Mandarin speaking vendors.
  • Advance skills in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Minimum 3 years experience in purchasing-related role within a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be able to plan, organize and implement multiple concurrent tasks
  • Possess good communication and negotiation skill
  • Sense of urgency and detailed-oriented
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiar with ISO requirement
