JOB SUMMARY:

This position has direct responsibility in purchase order placements that support the inventory needs of our Global Business. The Order Management Specialist participates in the day-to-day activities of issuing purchase orders, executing purchase order revisions and updating the buy plan with order placement data.  This position will also perform report generation for Global business.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Order Management

  • Enters and amends purchase orders in RMS and/or NetSuite system and updates relevant ordering information into the buy plan
  • Ensures purchase orders are successfully transmitted, received and confirmed by vendors
  • Maintains accurate ship dates, quantities, costs and descriptions in purchase orders
  • Monitors and keeps track of SKU pass communications to ensure purchase orders are issued in a timely manner

 

Issues Resolution

  • Liaise and work with cross-functional partners to track down & resolve shipments and transportation issues, with support from the team

 

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generates reports as needed
  • Performs analysis of monthly revenue forecast as needed

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Completes other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred tertiary qualification with 1-2 years of retail experience in a Merchandising and/or Purchasing role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel: Vlookup and Pivot Table
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills & ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency & ability to seek-out solutions
  • Superior written, communication & listening skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
