Business Development Manager

  • MBA Fresher or MBA with prior experience in international business development for minimum 2 to 3 years, Prior experience in selling shipping services preferable.
  • Accountable for sales targets assigned, regular meetings with new and existing clients, generating new business and exploring new opportunities and markets.
  • Responsible for new sales and account management and gathering new requirements from existing clients.
  • Responsible for the development new business accounts in Singapore, China & Hong honk.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales & Marketing Department.
  • Handle general sales enquiries, telephone calls, emails and ensure proper follow-up by respective Managers in a timely manner
  • Maintain and upkeep all sales database, sales kits, collaterals, and all filing system which includes vital information of companies, contacts, profiles
  • Carry out and conduct market research, competitor analysis and customer surveys.
  • Plan, coordinate and prepare events/ activities and visits.
  • To prepare and send out sales proposals, confirmation contracts and agreements
  • Assist with related sales & marketing assignment that may be assigned.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Collaborate with team to achieve better results
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services
