Sales Operations Analyst

The role of Analyst, Sales Operations, is responsible for supporting & enabling sales across all our offices in APAC region throughout the Lead to Cash process. The analyst will have regular communication with sales representatives to ensure business rules are followed and implemented, while also reviewing the logic and efficacy of these rules. He / she will be required to perform analysis on different aspects of the Lead to Cash process to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies, and work on projects dedicated to improving efficiency across the organisation and driving key initiatives such as billing, onboarding and churn reduction. The role also involves working with a broad selection of departments across Meltwater including but not limited to IT, Legal, Sales, Accounting & FP&A.


Report to:
 Regional Manager, Sales Operations, APAC

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contract approvals, contract review and billing
  • Identify opportunities for improved sales efficiency
  • Proactively work with sales to implement new business rules
  • Familiarity with all business rules and understanding of their context
  • Frequent communication with sales force and management
  • Thorough understanding of CRM and ERP systems
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes


Key Skills Required:

  • University degree (any discipline) with strong academic results
  • Around 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Exposure in an international environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for improving systems and efficiency
  • High level of attention to detail, quality and accuracy
  • Proven problem solving and analytical skills with great business sense
  • Track record for meeting goals and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership qualities & ability to train, motivate and engage with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to execute and drive change throughout the organisation
  • Strong language skills in English, and preferably Mandarin as well (for read / write / conversational purposes in business)
