Communications Specialist (S$3.5K, 12 Months Contract, US MNC, Central)

  • 5 days working week/ 9.00am to 5.00pm/Central
  • Monthly Basic up to S$3,500 (Depending on qualification & experience) + Overtime Benefits
  • Good Degree with 1 – 2 years MNC work experience or PR/ Advertising/ Media agency background

Our Client, a leading global manufacturer of Aerospace instruments & devices with more 13,000 employees worldwide, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position as Communications Specialist (12 Months Contract)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Compiling daily media report which entails summarizing news articles from key local media sources that are of relevance to company
  • Sending out news releases and managing a media database
  • Working on the quarterly employee newsletter content creation and keeping an updated email distribution list
  • Creation of new content such as PowerPoint decks and updating of existing content such as executive bios and country overviews
  • The candidate is expected to work fairly independently on providing administrative and logistics support to events
  • Submitting expense reports
  • Cyber grant processing
  • Other ad-hoc administrative tasks when required

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Good Degree in Marketing or Communications with 1-2 year MNC work experience or PR/ Advertising/ Media agency background
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work as a team but also run assignments independently
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Interest in news and general affairs would be an advantage
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook programs such as word, excel and powerpoint, photoshop, video editing and social media skills would be an advantage

Working Days/ Hours:       9.00am to 5.00pm/ 5 days work week
Occasional work after regular office hours may be required
