Self Help Groups Student Care Limited

Self Help Groups Student Care Limited is a joint venture company owned by the four Self Help Groups (SHGs), namely, CDAC, SINDA, Mendaki and Eurasian Association. We were set up in November 2015 to operate 30 school-based Student Care Centres (SCCs) that will cater to students of all races.
The 4 SHGs have a long history of collaboration with our schools to benefit our students, especially those from lower-income families.
This partnership, initiated by the joint commitment of the four SHGs, aims to help schools to better support the holistic development of our students, especially those from less-advantaged backgrounds, by tapping on the community resources of the 4 SHGs.


Salary: 2200


  • Oversee the daily operations of a school-based student care centre
  • Liaise with HQ, parents and school with regards to students and Centre matters
  • Mentor, lead and motivate staff in their work
  • Ensure that programmes and activities are carried out as per set curriculum
  • Plan for manpower and logistics
  • Handle fees payment and follow up on fees arrears
  • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of applications, withdrawals of enrolment and fees assistance schemes
  • Maintain updated records of students' profile and finance matters
  • Handle enquiries and provide regular feedback
  • Other related duties as assigned by the Superior



  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in managing a Student Care Centre, Childcare Centre, Enrichment / Tuition Centre or Kindergarten
  • Polytechnic Diploma and above
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Meticulous and able to multi-task



  • Normal school term:10am to 7pm (Mon - Fri)
  • During school holiday: 9 hours shift between 7.30am to 7pm (Mon - Fri)
