Accounts & Administration Assistant (Part Time)

 

Checkpoint Theatre, a non-profit theatre company, is looking to hire an Accounts & Administration Assistant.  This is currently a part-time position. We want someone with integrity and initiative, who enjoys working independently and is also a good team player.  

 

Responsibilities include:

- Providing accounts and administrative support for the company’s daily operations, productions and programmes;

- Processing, tracking and maintaining records of payments and receipts (including invoices, payment vouchers, receipts);

- Assisting with contracts and bills administration, handling and filing company correspondence;

- Processing, tracking and maintaining records of inventory and sales;

- Organising and maintaining office stationery, equipment, facilities and pantry;

- Providing logistical and clerical support for the company productions and programmes.

 

Requirements:

- Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail;

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

- Good initiative and the ability to focus, prioritise and work under pressure;

- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;

- Relevant working experience or at least a diploma from a recognised educational institution;

- Familiarity with theatre, other art forms or non-profit organisations would be advantageous.
